This is an open workshop day, and attendees will be able to tour the shop and make use of the facilities for small projects.

Additionally, a number of members will be working on projects for the Laser Cutter, and we'll be doing some basic instruction and demonstrations for file authoring and working with various materials.

The cutter uses vector art files to cut sheet vinyl for numerous applications including highly detailed car graphics, removable wall graphics, temporary and permanent signage, and masks for screen printing, sand blasting, and chemical etching.

A fast cutter capable of cutting fine detail down to 1/16th of an inch, the dynamic range of downforce allows for a full range of media types and thicknesses.
